"A great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and the stress that follows us city dwellers all day long. A lovely spot to forget about the virtual world and live life to the full. Plus, the owners are incredibly welcoming and go out of their way to look after their guests. The pool is a space nestled in nature, ideal for closing your eyes and taking it all in. It’s also worth adding that at night you can rest in a peace that’s almost impossible to find anywhere else these days – no noise to disturb your sleep. A place where we’ve even seen shooting stars, thanks to the lack of light pollution. Highly recommended!!!! Nature lovers will appreciate this place more than anyone else."

We went there over the October bank holiday weekend and had a wonderful stay. Jesús is incredibly attentive; he explained everything to us in great detail, recommended places and trails to visit, and was on hand to help with anything we needed. The house was fully equipped: tea towels, a dishwasher, scourers, baking paper, air fresheners… The house was lovely and, as it’s set apart from the rest, it gave you the feeling of being all alone in the countryside. Another huge plus was that we took our dogs (who aren’t exactly small) and they didn’t make a fuss at all – quite the opposite. They had a brilliant time; we’ll definitely be back!

An idyllic spot to unwind in the stunning Huelva mountains. Whether you’re with your partner, family or friends. It’s worth noting that the house has everything you could possibly need – you won’t miss a thing, not even a bed or a pillow, as every detail has been carefully thought of to make you feel right at home. Jesús is the manager of the estate, and his kindness and willingness to help are particularly noteworthy. From the estate, you can access one of the best-known hiking trails in the area. It’s an easy, circular route that’s impossible to get lost on, and you’ll love walking it. In the morning, you’ll wake up to the sound of sheep and feel completely immersed in nature. It’s a paradise just 700 metres from Jabugo. Truly spectacular.

We were looking for a place to unwind, surrounded by nature, simple and cosy, without any unnecessary frills, and El Pozuelo I didn’t disappoint. Jesús welcomed us very warmly at the agreed time, providing us with plenty of information about the area. He was very attentive to our well-being at all times, and his helpfulness and proactivity were second to none. As for the surroundings, what can I say? Acres of walnut, chestnut and cork oak trees... By the way, we went with two dogs who enjoyed the area just as much, if not more, than we did. We’ll definitely be back.

Without a doubt the best rural cottage we’ve ever stayed in. The estate is beautiful, like something out of a fairy tale. From there, you can access various hiking trails directly. The house is lovely and has absolutely everything you could need. First thing in the morning, you can see the sheep passing right by. I must give a special mention to Grande, a mastiff, the best guardian we had there – super affectionate and very good-natured. Jesús, the landlord, was very attentive and friendly. Thank you so much for everything!! We’ll definitely be back soon.

I was looking for a peaceful house that was both out of the way and yet close to the town centre, surrounded by nature, and I found it!! It’s the starting point for almost all our hiking trails, without having to use the car. A peaceful, beautiful and cosy place, thanks to Mr Jesús, who’s absolutely brilliant – he’s always making sure you’re comfortable and at ease. A 10/10 stay!!
