Restored in 1995 by reinforcing its stone walls. Its roof is tiled with “Arabic” roof tiles and all the roof beams in the house are made of chestnut wood. Worth highlighting are its unrendered stone walls and traditional floors which are typical of old houses in this part of Spain.
El Pozuelo I is perfect for couples or families with young children. It has two bedrooms, one of which doubles as sitting room. The well equipped open plan kitchen diner connects to the living room where you’ll find the gorgeous fireplace. Also worth mentioning is the porch with slate floors which is perfect for having breakfast whilst enjoying the view.
The house is surrounded by a variety of indigenous trees such as cork oaks, chestnuts and olive trees.
The property is ideally situated for local walks to Jabugo, that is roughly 700 meters away or other villages nearby (Galaroza, Fuenteheridos, Castaño del Robledo, Santa Ana la Real…) along the paths that border the property, all of which are recommended by the Andalusian Hiking Federation.
